If you haven’t driven a hybrid you will be in for a treat. The first thing you will notice when you turn the key to start the car is that you won’t hear the motor. There will be a message on the dash that it is ready to drive. This is because it first starts with the battery and the engine does not engage until needed. This is a perfect car to tour Kauai. Very easy to drive with ice cold air conditioning. the rear seats fold flat for additional space for all of you gear. Enjoy a trouble free ride with great fuel economy, over 40 MPG. We also offer options for filling tank on return, details below. The car will be available for pick up and return at our residence, 5792 Ahakea St., Kapaa, HI 96746. It will be the guests responsibility to arrange transportation by Taxi or Uber for pick up and return. A second option is to select Lihue Airport pick up and delivery option. Turo provides a shuttle service to and from an off airport parking lot. The fee for this service is $35 which is less than a taxi or uber. At either location the key will be in a lock box on the driver window.
