Lydgate Beach

Lydgate Beach is a family-friendly spot in the eastern area of Kauai. It is on the Pacific Ocean near the Kalepa Forest Reserve, and the waves are easy enough for beginner surfers.

Expect to see an assortment of tropical fish when exploring the beach pools. If you have kids with you, take them to play at Kalemani Playground, or bring camping gear and pitch a tent for the weekend.
